Florence Margenat is member of the Brussels Bar since 2007.
She was initially a commercial law practitioner (including market practices and consumer rights). She then specialized in intellectual property and has been recognized as a specialist in IP, media and ICT law.
Her current practice focuses on copyright, neighbouring rights, trademarks, patents, ICT, culture and media law as well as copyright tax and GDPR.
Since 2013, she is frequently appointed as third-party decider by the Belgian Center of Arbitration and Mediation (Cepani) for disputes relating to « .be » domain names.
Florence graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and holds a Masters degree in IP and ICT law of the KUL (HUB/EHSAL).
